1. WHAT WE COLLECT
When you create a profile on Other Net, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, tagline, bio, website, and category. We also collect your email address when you sign in via Clerk, our authentication provider. We do not collect data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your profile data is used to display your public Other Net profile at othernet.surf/@username. Your email is used only for authentication and essential account communications. Visitor counts and platform statistics are aggregated and anonymised — we track no individual browsing behaviour.
3. NOTES
The SEE NOTES feature stores your sticky notes locally on your own device using browser localStorage. These notes are never transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable cloud sync in a future version. Your notes are private by default.
4. COOKIES
We use minimal session cookies required for authentication via Clerk. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile your behaviour.
5. STORAGE
Files you upload to Other Net are stored securely on Backblaze B2 and Cloudflare R2. Files are associated with your account and are not publicly accessible unless you choose to share them. You may delete your files and account at any time.
6. THIRD PARTY SERVICES
Other Net uses Clerk for authentication, Neon for database hosting, and Cloudflare for content delivery. Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We select providers that meet high standards for data protection.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@othernet.surf. We will process requests within 30 days.
